Deann has been sewing since she was eight years old. She learned from the best, her mother, a renowned seamstress and wedding gown designer. Her passion for design drove her to express her vision in the form of a boutique; an avenue to work with fabric and leather, making her own creations, as well as promoting artists and their many creative endeavors.

 

Today, Deann is blessed to have her dreams realized. The Indigo Pearl is nestled in Waxhaw, NC where she and her husband, Mark, raised their family. 

 

Furthermore, the “Pearl” has become a hub for locals to express themselves in a warm and creative environment.
